I remember watching your video about transferring last year and this just came up in my recommended videos! I transferred to a different university after my first year too and things went SO differently to how I had planned but I graduated (years ago now) and am really happy with where I have got myself in life! I completely understand when you were talking about living in the moment but also getting sad about original college plans not working out. Your story is very similar to mine (I went to community college, went to school in FL for a year, and then transferred to a school in Oregon) so I completely get it. I don’t know if it gets easy, but by focusing mostly on the positives helps a lot :).
